Some options grow better in certain conditions, so we are happy to make an assessment of your property to determine which options are the right fit for your home or business.

Joe’s Turf provides the following varieties for our clients throughout the Gatton, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.
QUEENSLAND BLUE COUCH
This type has soft and fine leaves. It also has a blue-green colour when mowed to create a unique and attractive lawn. It's ideally suited for temperate and sub-tropical climates.
AUSSIE BLUE COUCH
This has a fine to medium texture with a soft leaf. It's used mainly for residential and commercial areas as well as parks.
WINTERGREEN COUCH
This type is quick growing and keeps its dark colour throughout the cooler months. It's a classic option that has stood the test of time.
SIR WALTER BUFFALO
This option has a coarse texture and retains its colour during the Australian winters. It prefers temperatures that are between 20 degrees celsius and 30 degrees celsius and it does well in areas with high humidity.
SWEET SMOTHER
Also called Durban grass, it has a coarse texture and is a perennial with ground runners of up to a metre.
PALMETTO BUFFALO
Originating in central Florida, it has a coarse texture with dark green leaves. It is extremely tolerant of heat and low humidity.
NARROW LEAF BUFFALO
Narrow leaf buffalo is an Australian bred fine textured grass. It is highly tolerant to shade and is very soft but has little sponge.
EMPIRE ZOYSIA
This grass is slightly coarse, which makes it ideally suited for residential and commercial lawns as well as recreation areas. It also has a good shade tolerance level.
KIKUYU
This fast growing grass requires fertile soil with plenty of moisture, but it is still excellent when it comes to drought-resistance once fully established.

We pride ourselves on affordable pricing on all of our turf varieties. We charge our customers per square metre. To pay for our range of services and products, customers can use cash, cheque or direct deposit. Rest assured, we are fully insured and offer warranties on all of our products and installation.
